Our Mission
At Greg Stallings Construction, we are committed to providing the highest level of product quality and value to our customers. We are experienced in both post-framed and stick-built structures designed to meet your business, housing, storage, and recreational requirements. Our buildings should not only satisfy your functional needs, but should also be aesthetic assets to your property.
Our History
Greg Stallings Construction has been a family-owned company since it began in 1984. Greg Stallings Sr. began his construction legacy at 21, while assembling building kits for Furrows Building Supply here in Eugene. As a fourth generation Oregonian from the logging, ranching, and farming industries, hard work was not unfamiliar to Greg Sr. Without a nickel from the bank, the early years were tough, but it wasn’t long before the company was growing drastically.
Thirty years later, we are fortunate to look back with pride and a sense of accomplishment knowing that each year has been a success. Over the years we have adopted the motto: “pride is where it starts,” and built our name on providing lasting, valuable and beautiful assets to our community that our clients are proud to own for years to come.
Our Family
We are fortunate to be born into a family where faith in God, honesty, and motivation has been instilled in us since birth. For this we are eternally indebted to our foregoing generations.
Greg Stallings Sr. was born in Eugene and is the company’s founder and entrepreneur. With a passion for livestock and the country lifestyle, building pole barns in rural Oregon was a natural fit. In addition to running the construction company, Greg Sr. has also taken a proactive role in the cattle industry. With over fifty head of registered Hereford cattle to take care of, there is never a dull moment at the Stallings ranch. He has had the privilege to serve as the Vice President of the Oregon Hereford Association and assume the role of sale manager for the annual state sale for eight years. With these responsibilities comes a very busy lifestyle, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Therese Stallings was born and raised in Creswell, and devoted most of her youth to the equestrian world. After high school she attended Meredith Manor Equestrian School in West Virginia. Following graduation she returned to Oregon to begin her career as an equine instructor. Not too long after her return she met Greg Sr. through a mutual friend, and in 1987 they were married. Today Therese spends much of her time in the Greg Stallings Construction office as the office and accounting manager.
Amelia Stallingsgraduated in 2012 from Oregon State University, with a degree in Agricultural Business Management and a minor in Animal Science. Since graduating, she now works in the office tracking job finances and bidding new projects. She has also taken an active role in the families cattle operation, if she isn't in the office you will probably find her in the cattle barn or on occasion you will find her in the shop cutting lumber packages.
